  • Lunch with Dave

    002 (2) 015 (2)

They are called Grumps cause when he was young he couldn’t say grandpa.

The owner is a nice man and I asked him how long have you lived here now and he said, “twenty years and he applied for citizenship.”

My hubby Dave has been here since 1981 and his should come through anytime now.

  • The antique mall

    003004

I work tomorrow at the antique mall but that’s ok since I haven’t worked in two months.

My shoes almost fit me now. I still wear the blue shoe just because at the end of the day my foot swells up and the blue shoe has velco straps.

  • Still celebrating my birthday

    009 (2)

My sister I share the antique booth with(Mo or full name Maureen)  bought me my lunch and got me chocolate covered strawberries for my May 3rd birthday.

She gave me a funny card and also money for garage sales.

Aunt (adopted aunt) Rose is in the background.  We also got a photo with her in it.

  • Home same day

    179180

We got home from the toll way ; we always say, home same day.

The toll way was a joy to drive on.

  • Our tollway opened

    043005014022025036082066092094120081056160

The toll way didn’t open on Mother’s Day  so our neighbor’s sister Debbie called the mayor  on his cell, he said,” ain’t going to happen today”

Dave and I went the next day and it was 23 minutes instead of 45 to Ft.Worth.

They said at 7:15am they did a fly over by the t.v. station in Fort Worth; only one car on it.

It’s $5.99 each way for a two axel.

The other road is still free if you want to stop at 27 traffic lights.

  • See the little grandson in the background?

    005 (3)

That is my Reece 4 year old in the background.  We never made him kiss old granny but he told my hubby,” I ‘m not going to kiss her but you are.”

A nice old man who builds wind folk art gave Reece a little plane that the propeller turns in the wind.

We said,” Reece, tell the nice man thank you.”
