I told Reece that we have a little tree at our house.

He said, "yes , I've seen little trees and they're good, Gran."

He said he doesn't only like cars but the Rescue Station too.

I will ask if that's ok to get him.

We got to stay with the kids today while mom and dad finished their Christmas shopping.

We try to give Reece lots of attention but he still got jealous of his little brother Reid.

Here I am holding the one year old and looking at the Christmas tree while pop and Reece play carols together.

Reece is almost 4yrs old now and his little brother is one year old.

I was holding the baby and said, "I'm just going to take you home, Reid" well, Reece said, "granny, no, put him down; he's my brother and you can't have him.

Well, his mom and dad looked at each other surprised cause earlier he would have been glad for me to take him.

Well, it's so cold that we still have ice on the roof of the store.  No one can park near the roof.

I am glad that it's melting and the roads are alright now to travel.

My husband's mom couldn't understand why they didn't use snow plows on the road in Dallas.  We said, "it's not snow but 2 inches of solid ice."

I thought this looked like Jack in the box.

My dad's name was John but all his friends called him Jack.

Mom said Christmas brought out the kid in him.

Soon after dad died there were billboards with "Jack is back."

We always joked that because dad was a paratrooper in WW2 that he might just have more then nine lives.

Someone said they had a house for their troll and I told her that I saw one at the antique mall but this is a Tiki hut.

2 inch thick ice and it was really a rough and bumpy ride over them.

Window shopping is best done at night. I plan to go to see the windows then at about 6pm on a week day so I can take photos from my car window unless it's warm and then I'll get out.

For some reason I haven't mailed my cards yet but I mean to soon.

If this was a recent photo it would have had cobblestone ice all around but it's an old photo.

I once heard that there are one hundred types of snow and ice but I just know of two now.
