I asked Lisa if that isn't the same cookie jar she had up last year. She said,"yes."

My little sister was born in 1959 and she had a stuffed Santa like the one on the left; she doesn't remember but I was 9yrs old when she was born.

  • I do like the cookie jar! That stuffed Santa looks like the ornament my husband has from his childhood.

  • Is Santa smoking?

    • I asked Lisa what is he(Santa)? Justin Bieber with a mike in his mouth and she said,"yeah." it's the doll stand so that part show go around the doll's neck.

  • Very cute. Merry Christmas in advance.

    • we are late getting our Christmas stuff out cause most of the people put their stuff out in the summer. You sell all year round cause other people like to buy all year.

  • My oldest daughter was born in 1959. Margaret was born in 1965.

  • what a fun cookie jar ~

    • last year they had her cookie jar in the display at the front of the store where they take everyone's merchandise and display a scene.

  • That's funny. I was going to ask if Santa was smoking, but mlbncsga beat me to it! I guess he has a sucker in his mouth.
It's a cute cookie jar, but seasonal stuff like that takes up an awful lot of room. I have tons of Fall and Christmas stuff and I am trying to weed out what I don't "need."

    • I know I have all seasons in my booth but what you do is just put it on the bottom shelves at the mall and sometimes you still sell stuff out of season.
I just keep my personal stuff at home and without kids in the house we don't put much up anymore.
It's the part of the doll stand that goes around the dolls waist or neck to stand it up. I thought it was a microphone.

  • Ho Ho Ho and the Christmas season has begun already... Good gracious Jill can't you wait at least until Halloween is over!!!

    • Lisa and I are late getting our Christmas stuff out -everyone else put it up in Sept. people like to find old ornaments so they can make and put together Christmas wreaths and people buy all year round.
I don't like to rush holidays either but I put 6 things in my booth and sold half of them last month so I said I might as well get with it. I sold a what I call feather tree and also what I call a toilet brush tree. They are very popular from the 50's.

  • a taste of Christmas altready!!:-)

    • remember we're in the retail business so people buy all year round. I put out 6 Christmas things last month and 3 sold so I told Lisa we better get our stuff out.

  • Cute Santas.

    • with the 2 grandkids Christmas is so much more fun. Well, every holiday is fun. I asked Reece the 3yr old if he knew what a holiday was? He said,"it means granny doesn't have to work at the antique mall." I thought that was so cute.
