While I've never had my own dog, I understand the connection that people have with their dogs.
It is hard to see beloved pets suffer. I hope your Basset is not suffering much.
she has here medicine and the way she romps in the morning hubby and I say that maybe we need to take it. LOL I take one Aleve a day.
Awww, I must say... I don't have any dogs for my porch... real or otherwise.
they are so much fun.
A great way to commemorate their lives! Hope Sadie is with you for a lot longer!
we got her in 2003 and she acts like a puppy in the morning but most of the time she just sleeps.
Dogs become a real part of our families. We miss them when they're gone.
yes, I always get another dog but they are always so different just like people.
We used to raise bassets when I was a girl ~ love them ~
they are special dogs. LOL I'm sure you know.
Is that a statue or Sadie in the chair? I'm sorry I didn't get to meet your dogs when we visited. We once had a bassett-terrier named Katy. People would look at her, smile, and say "What is she?" She was a very good dog.
sounds like she must have been something to look at. LOL
We have been blessed with some great pets. They were all part of the family.
isn't that the truth.
Death is a major reason I've not had a pet all these years.
