  • My grandson and dil

    110 (3)

My grandson and dil Jenny at dinner yesterday.

After the four year old' s t-ball  game my son and his family took us out to eat.

I told Jenny to stand by the window with the baby Reid cause the light was perfect.

  • Will you still love me when I'm 63

    029

    Oh, my not another birthday.

Here I am with my brother Johnny and sisters Mary and Judy.

Who will be at your funeral and no one will know who they are? Your siblings of course.

  • Pie safe

    024

The fellow across the hall at the antique mall from us sometimes makes his own furniture.

This is a shelf with a screen window so I guess it's a pie safe.

  • Brush with a young fireman

    041

Once my sister Joni who lives in Scottsdale, Az. said that at 3am a strong arm was knocking on her condo door and he said, "come out."

Well, she thought she was dreaming to have a young fireman at her door. He helped her as she carried one of her two dogs down the stairs to the parking lot.

She was alright and so were her things but it was more of a precaution.

  • Remember Necco wafers?

    015

My brother and sisters would use the candy to copy the adults in our church and line up for communion.

My brother asked if I remembered him playing the priest?

I said, "yes, do you remember Johnny how I would ask for the chocolate ones?"

He said, "yes, you were the picky one weren't you?"
