Wool is scratchy
Here are some wool socks I had in my booth at Christmas time.
Growing up we kids had dad’s green wool army blankets and they scratchy and itchy.

Some wool socks are very comfortable.
Wool is scratchy, but there is nothing warmer.
In winter sometimes the only thing that can get me warm is my wool blanket.
I use my comforter that is down that is so warm.
Zsa must be talking about alpaca wool.
I like wool socks – I suppose that in TX they don’t have the good kind. I mean if you wear them once in the course of the winter you don’t invest in the quality ones that are worth the price when you wear them daily for 6 mos of the year!
I’ve never met a wool I enjoyed wearing. Then again, I don’t need wool where I live, so maybe I just haven’t tried the good kind.
I still have my green army blanket!
I totally agree with your sentiment & that of Regina S! I don’t like to itch!!
