when I was a young mother I overslept and I didn’t get to hide the basket. I got dressed and my parents honked for us and I ran the little boy out to the car and said I forgot something. Steven was busy telling them that the Easter bunny didn’t come to our house and I got there and I said,”well, he is probably going to hide it while we’re at church. It’s become a family tradition.LOL he’s 44yrs old now.
Of course this is a good reason to go to church !
What is weird is the Easter bunny is not in the tradition in France . The eggs are but in the past it was the children who served to the altar at Church who went from house to house , from farm to farm to ask real eggs or some little coins ; I do not remember chocolate eggs when I was young ( but it was the war II and we were invaded)

That’s one way to be sure everyone goes to church.
A great tradition!! I’m guessing he will carry it on with his family! The boys are growing like weeds – Reece is so tall!
The boys are so cute. Our Easter bunny usually hid the baskets too. However he/she always remembered. At our house it was the Tooth Fairy who was forgetful……..very forgetful.
yes, sometime the tooth fairy was late at my house and I tried to just do it before I went to bed at night. LOL
Cool!
Cute story.
He’s no Creaster Bunny, then.
did you mean Easter bunny? Well, I was just in my early 20′s and so used to mom and dad making my holidays for me.
after that time I put it out before I went to bed at night.
