Old writing or penmanship
I like to look at old photos and the handwriting on the back at the beautiful penmanship.
Sometimes people even sell old stacks of letters held together with colored ribbon.
I had to use refillable pens in school back in the 50′s and didn’t care for them. I pressed too hard and bent the tip of the pen.

I used to save my love letters from my wife to be. Then my mother read them. lol My wife to be had great penmanship, and my mom read her writing easily.
I used to love using fountain pens.
Have a nice Easter.

what did your mom say about your letter from Norma?
did Norma know?
you have a great Easter,too.
I always pressed too hard and the nib would splay out and scratch up the paper and blob ink.. then I learned to write with much less pressure and the pen would glide smoothly over the paper…
I still press down too hard. LOL
I have a stack of old postcards from the late 1800′s. The author wrote in perfect script. Many are in German and are hand colored lithographs of German villages and scenes.
I too like to look at old pictures and letters in different languages. I think there is such a romance about the way penmanship, the words written, and the photos that accompany them.
Your recollections of Paris, perhaps?
no, Gary, it’s a picture made out of an old window from a house at the antique mall, I don’t even have a passport to get out of Texas. LOL
I have never been an expert in writing but I admire the old cursive writings .
The old photos make me nostalgic .
Love
Michel
