It was in the album and it said,"remember your old school?"

Well, my old school had black top so I don't think it was my school.

Remember there were eight kids in our family.

Mom wrote ,"you as a baby" ; I know that ugly baby wasn't me.

  • The slide was always a favorite but the "kid killer" is one piece of playground equipment that gives me the shakes! I've seen too many kids slip and fall underneath - Head injuries are bad...

  • That merry go round is more sophisticated than the one we had at our school. More handholds.

    Hahaha - or lol :-D
I'm not always so certain now, myself, when I look back at my 3 kids... should have labeled the pictures when I took them. :-P

I used to love those spinny things.

  • @murisopsis - "the kid killer" - lol

  • Oh dear! Where's that edit button... I should have read all of murisopsis comment before making mine. I didn't know children actually got hurt. :-(

  • Certainly NOT you if it was truly an ugly baby!
RYC on “Home Town” — Thanks. Yes, I read the book “Heaven Is for Real” & it was excellent. I didn’t know that it had
been made into a movie until just now … I saw it promo’d on T.V.; Have you seen it?
Ouch! I hurt for you with having him pat the foot!
It does take time for the edematous toes/ankles/feet to get back to normal.
One day you will have your slender toes back again! :-)

  • Your mum was certainly not unemployed ! Life was hard . isn'it,Jill?
    Love

  • I loved slides and those go around rides as a kid. My big brother used to push both of them for me.

  • I think the ugly duckling matured into a beautiful swan.

  • RYC: Thanks for the compliment. :-)
How nice that you will be able to wear normal shoes again! Hubs will be pretty relieved when you are back to your own independent self once again. (Milk the extra attention while you can! It will make him appreciate you all the more!) ;-)
