  • Remember Route 66?

I liked that t.v. show with the two young guys in the corvette who drove down route 66  and had adventures on the way.

    I never did hitch hike.

My sister did and dad caught her on his way home from work.  He told her that he won't tell mother if she promised to never do it again.

  • very cool wall hanging...

  • Hey I really like that Route 66 creation. I wonder if (or expect) somebody put it together as a memento of their travels?

  • hitchhiking sure isn't what it used to be ~ never did it, though ~

  • My son came home drunk once sick as dog since he mixed beer with champagne. He was sick for four days. I told him that I would not tell his mother. (my wife) He was very relieved.

I loved those 66 stories. I like adventure, but never got to be adventurous.

  • Love the wall hanging!!!!

  • Route 66? You're not old enough to remember that program.

  • I like that mirror on the wall.

  • The road 66 was the way of the adventures !! :)
    Love

  • Love the Route 66 wall hanging! Someday I want to drive it. Hitchhiking has never been really safe. Sometimes the hitchhiker isn't safe!

  • Neat momento, nicely done! Never saw that program.
Hitchhiking: one time I did it out of desperation, and the driver bawled me out
for doing so - as he took me to work! A couple of times I have picked up someone, but I stopped (my husband). What can I say, other than I was kind of naive (& stupid). ;-)

  • Oh, btw,... I love that shirt! I'd probably buy it if I saw it! :-)

  • Still not able to post anything, but still able to catch up around here, Jill! I was following you so I could see you in my reader, but somehow, people are disappearing from my list! Anyway, I hope you don't mind that I'm following again, and I also sent you a friend request on Facebook! Love this framed picture ... I remember traveling on parts of Route 66 on the way to CA, but I don't remember the show with the two guys in the corvette(?) I hitchhiked once, back when I was in high school with a friend. It was only for about one mile ... to the mall! lol! He was very nice older man, but I never did it again! My husband hitchhiked across America to Washington State when he was 16 ... he had a lot of adventures, too!
