What day is it? Ash wed.
I took this photo last Friday and since then it dropped down in the teens.
Tuesday, we stayed with the 16 month old Reid since he was ill. No phone call for help today.
Went to the Pancake dinner last night at the church.
Wish we had an Ashes to Go. I will have to ask Father Chris cause who wants to stay till the end of mass? I know I'm a little devil but I'm not the only one.

I'd never heard of Ashes to Go...so I googled it! What a great idea! So is there a Ash Wednesday Mass?
Love the blooming shrubbery! And the sunshine!! Ash Wednesday Mass is at 6:30 tonight so I have to drive straight from work... I could have gone to the lunch time Mass but it is sooo crowded that it takes too long.
What kind of flowers are those?
well, good question since I call them red buds but it's not.
What gorgeous pictures!!! I kind of giggled at "ashes to go". In our church you just wait to the end of the service.
Those bushes are beautiful. It's so good to see color. Our church doesn't have Ash Wed. I kind of wish we had a bit more ritual, but not too much.
ahhh ~ blooming things! cannot WAIT! still snow on the ground here ~ another light layer fell yesterday and last evening ~ sigh ~
A Catholic without an Ash Wednesday is unthinkable. I hope you work it out.
Loved your photos. We still are desperate for rain and snow--tons of it.
Beautiful flowers ... they remind me somewhat of bougainvilleas.
I hope your little guy is feeling better soon.
