Can you see Colby is trying to keep his cool? Reece never stops. Too much energy.

Colby is my dil’s brother’s son and they also have a 16yr old Zachary.

Reid was so quiet. They said we can’t go to Olive Garden or someplace quiet cause Reidy likes to holler out loud.

Well, Easter is late this year.

As we were leaving the dr.’s office  I asked Dave if I was a very good girl?

The dr. was complimentary to my husband that he must be taking very good care of me.

I said,” yes, he is.”

Dave said that he owes me since he has had knee replacements himself.

I have to have pants that will fit over my big black boot. You can remove the boot and I have Dave to help me take it off at night.

Pain feels like my foot has been sandpapered raw and I take a pain pill when the sensation starts.

The scooter makes it easier but I still have to elevate all the time.

The basset doesn’t like her photo taken.

She could see but then she lost sight from glaucoma.

When Sadie is in the backyard you would never know she’s blind. Like Helen Keller said,”you can feel the warmth of the sun even if you can’t see it.”

The big yellow lab is named Katie. She’s a sweetheart until you stop petting her. She used to scratch your arm but I taught her to,
“ be nice.”

Nice is to bow her head and rub you with the top of her head. When she starts to paw you, she remembers and bows and rubs your arm. How can you not pet her then.

The dr. was really happy with how it turned out.

I lost a joint or two but he said I won’t miss them.

I have to stay off my foot for 4 more weeks but I will know it’s all worth it when I can walk again.

I will post my other two dogs later but just wanted to tell you that I’m catching up on my alpha beta author.

Oh, there is the basset right above my hand. LOL she’s coming in from the  back yard through the doggie door we got at Lowe’s.

This is Maggy Mae my cowdog,blue heeler, Aussie,herding dog. She lives behind a fence. She is high strung.

It started with the doggy door; she wanted everyone to line up and go out quietly; when they didn’t, she would grab a dog by the neck and shake it like a rag doll.

The other dogs who live in the house are scared to death of her so she has to live in a dog pen or in the yard by herself.

She would be best herding cows or sheep not a bunch of lazy dogs.

I have a hard time getting good photos of my five dogs.

The little white terrier is Sophie;  she’s just 17lbs. and is a sweetie. She really is a lap dog.

Lilly is the spotted beast who has had seizures since she was one year old. She’s on two different medicines but still has breakthrough spells.

I will have to show the other dogs later.

It’s not motorized. Just looks like a moped.

I have an ace wrap from toe to knee under the black shell of a boot.

I am getting around the house and my first dr.  visit is wed.
