Our old theater
When the new cinema opened in the newer part of town years ago this turned into many different things.
The last thing it housed was a church and after the fire they had to tear it down.
Now my memories are a parking lot.

yes, I still live here.
it is a shame what happens to old cinemas. i wonder...when i am gone, if those that remember me will be of a parking lot, empty space to fill up with what ever.

I have gone back to places where I lived
in earlier years, and it is always interesting to see what remains, and what changes or is completely gone. You got me thinking about many things today.
well, I stayed here and all the others ran off but brother came back from Az. 4yrs ago and is living in the old house.
We have a couple of old theaters here that have been renovated as restaurants or dance halls and meeting places.
this would have had a chance until the fire. I wonder if it was done for insurance reasons? the fire that is. I've been watching a lot of t.v.
Perhaps a clever entrepreneur will restore the theater.
all that is left is the cool sign.
I would prefer a cinema!!
