I'll always remember the toilet paper covers my grandmother knitted(or crocheted)that looked like poodles. We liked to play with them, and pretend they were our pets when we visited.
yes, I talked about how it seems like everyone had a doll or a poodle. LOL
That first lady is so classy looking! I like her. I've had that sort of lady t.p. cover. I have a couple now, but they aren't crocheted, they are made with plastic canvassing.
I'm not sure what you mean about plastic canvassing. You mean like they use on the cake décor and cover the dress with icing ?
Yes, she looks like she would cost a bunch but I think she was under $20
The TP doll was sooo popular at one time - I think everyone had one on the back of the toilet!
yes, that or a poodle LOL
I like the little ladies.
I like so much I have to just take photos. Thanks
Cute dolls. My sister is a collector of figurines that are animal shaped with human bodies and human clothes.
I will have to keep my eye out for that. I had a book with little kittens dressed up for school with a chalk board behind them. I still have it somewhere.
My mom had a toilet paper lady. Funny!
yes, I have had a dog before -I can't think how do you spell Poodle.
Very pretty. How do we "sub" to a person on this new format?
my blog transferred over from regular Xanga so I'm not sure.
I guess you go to the dashboard and then push on followers. That is how I did it.
My wife would love to have them. They are cute.
LOL your wife would be buying up our store!
The first lady looks like Dresden China. Is she?
I will have to ask the dealer in that book but it looks like china. Her name is Mel and she has a booth right across from ours but she's like the rest of us in that she's in an out a lot.
I'd say you're right.
thanks
Is the first lady made in earthenware( porcelain) ? Nice.
Love
Michel
