  • The Fat Stock Show is in town

    Last Saturday my grandsons got to ride a real pony and also a four by four ride.

    It's not called Fat anymore cause I guess some were offended.  It is called Livestock show.

    If you don't know what to say just say, " those are really good looking livestock."

  • Does livestock refer to any kind of farm animal?

  • Livestock are any animals who are raised on a farm or ranch. So, no more Hefty Heifers,eh?

  • Funny about that word "fat"!
    My older son & DIL have fat cats... yes, they do! But I can't say that around my DIL! She insists that the fattest one (which is really the only one I called fat) ... isn't fat, but her baby!
    FAT IS FAT, AND THAT IS THAT!

    • I worked in pediatrics for 5 yrs and the pediatricians always said,"fat isn't healthy." It just meant that they were taking in too many calories." Usually we would find out that mom was giving them too much fruit juice and she would say,"I thought juice was healthy?"

      My dil and son had to put their cat on a diet to get it normal again.
