Rose will still pose for me
Rose has been at the store since they opened in 1987. I tell her that she looks so pretty in pink.
She can run circles around me but since she's turned 80yrs old she's starting to slow down.
I'm standing in someone else's booth and like this door shelf. She's selling it for $90 but I don't really need it since it doesn't have very many shelves.

Rose looks like someone who is a friend to all. And you are right - she does look good in pink! I like the door shelf too but not for $90 since it only has one shelf - If you were handy you could probably make more shelves...
she's our store mascot. I call her aunt Rose, people ask why and she says I'm an aunt to her dog with the big ears. She would always laugh at the puppy photos of my cow dog cause her ears were so huge, like a donkey but she grew into them. LOL
I decided I didn't need it since it only really had one shelf and I would never make more shelves.
The shelf is a cute idea ~
I'm in the way of the door knob but it's there
Rose doesn't look 80, and she does look pretty in pink. She has a nice smile.
she's 81 or 2 now. she must not have been there when you came. She usually comes at lunch.
This year she lost one of her two sons and her oldest grandson all this year and I think it has slowed her down with grief.
I like it when someone doesn't dodge or hide from my camera. You know they feel good about themselves.
She is a pretty lady inside and out and she's always there for us.
A pose, is a Rose, is a pose?
Or a Rose, is a pose, is a Rose?
Hehehe
Door shelf what a unique idea...
Where you work looks like fun.
thanks, the shelf needs more shelves and Rose is a rose.
She looks like she would be a lot of fun to spend time with!
I've been around her since 1994 and once when she asked about mom in the nursing home she asked if I would come to visit her at a nursing home some day and I said,"of course, Rose."
Rose doesn't look any where close to that age! She is very pretty in pink, and would be pretty in any color! She looks very sweet, too.
that's because she is over 80yrs old now. I think 81 or 82. LOL She is pretty in pink.
the door is cool.
I missed your first picture somehow! I kept looking for a shelf in Rose' s picture! I love that shelf, and you make a very pretty model to show it off! ....lol, I still Don't know how I missed the picture earlier!
She looks like a very nice lady. I have become like her at 80---except like many old guys, look bewildered and walk around slightly bent over. I became of them. lol You look nice as usual.
thanks Frank, Well, I am going to make a photo of Rose. Give her a hard copy. She's had a hard year already. He son died and now her oldest grandson died. It's only the 10th of Jan. so she's slowed down lately and doesn't smile as often. She has here other son staying with her right now; the one who lost his son, too.
I sure do enjoy all your posts of all your collecting. I would spend way too much time and money at your shop. A friend of mine does something similar but displays at markets and big antique fairs. She lives in Alameda. Every time I go visit I come home with my car filled with stuff. And I have a big car...dang!
that is funny. I enjoy stocking my booth but I try to be careful and not get too much cause it's a hobby. I like to recycle my junk.
