I have two of the second doll so I will ask if the gal across from me will trade her pecan head folk art doll for the china head doll.

    They are the same prices.

I have the duplicate doll on my dresser. This doll is fairly new and made to look old.

  • Hello :) I just wandered on to your site. The dolls are cute. Are they something that you are set up in some sort of antique area to sell?

    • the pecan head is in the booth across from my booth. I have the new china head or porcelain head doll and it's in my antique booth at the mall in Burleson,Texas so yes, I would like to ask the gal if she would trade with me so I can have the pecan head doll and put it with my other dolls. It's very different.

  • That pecan head looks kind of mouse like! I like it!

    • yes, a mouse might nibble on it. My dogs like the pecan nuts in the yard and I don't even have a pecan tree. LOL maybe a bird or squirrel dropped

  • Happy New Year.

  • Cute dolls. Hope you can make the trade.

  • You sure find cute things, Jilly.

    • thanks Frank, I talked to Lisa for a while yesterday, she said she had to work on sunday and that she's always working but she gets off early at 5pm sunday. I said,"I'm sorry I wish you could go parttime." She said,"we could play together more then and I said,"yes, and you won't be so tired all the time." She's only 44yr old and I'm thinking I didn't go partime till I was 50yrs old when Dave told me that I was working for free cause we have to pay so much on taxes and I said,"maybe Curtis will say that to you." Plus I had high blood pressure and got on medicine at 45yrs old and really it was stress from work, too.

  • You own treasures !! You amaze me .
    Love
    Michel

  • I lie the pecan head doll, and the piano she's standing by. She has personality.

    • yes, she's full of personality. I will hopefully be able to trade my doll for her. I like to trade if I am able to cause it's cheaper of course. LOL

  • Collecting is fun, if you have the room.

    • I decorate my house with stuff and then when my booth at the antique mall looks bare: I just stand in a door way and pick out stuff for my booth. I think it's crazy that some people will rent a storage space and pay rent on it each month. I try to keep my garage so I have room for cars in it. I do have a headboard and a screen door in it right now and an old suitcase and a mirror. I can still get my car in just fine.

  • I like the old doily, too. I collect them from second hand shops. It is interesting to find ways to use them. I have found some good ideas on Pinterest.

    • I like folk art,too.
I like baby dolls, rag dolls, I've sold some that I really wish I kept but since I have two of this little fancy doll I don't mind selling or trading. I got two of them for $2 each at a friend's garage sale. I said,"Allen, is this the right price? he asked his wife and she said yes. I know they're new but they are so super sweet.
