my hubby is at the age where he doesn't like his prostate checked -he heard a comedian say he didn't want to be a hand puppet. I said,"we woman have to go through stuff worse then that so just go do it. His dad died from prostate cancer so he grins and bears it.

the other day I posted on it but I didn't know it had a long neck.
I remember the Teddy Ruxpin (I was a kid in the 80s, but you can ignore that if it makes you feel old, haha). Never had one, but I remember the commercials. Also, I think he had a cartoon show, but I don't really remember ever watching it.
RYC: Yes, I have to take some of the fat and skin in his back and insert the needle there. It's not TOO hard, but he doesn't like it, so I haven't actually given him the full dose yet, just about half (maybe).
it does make me feel old since my boys were born in the 70's LOL but I am starting to realize it's ok when I look in the mirror.
even though I'm a nurse it bothers me to do things to my family and pets so I don't blame you. I could do it for you and it won't bother me at all but it's too cold to go to your city and I will just stay here where it should get up in the 50's today.
I know it's miserable back east right now. Sorry!

I didn't want to get either of my sons the hand puppet or Teddy. We had AG Bear instead...
my boys were born in the 70's so I'm sure they were too old for it or too expensive I'm sure. LOL
