Love the idea! My friend goes to all the craft shows and gathers ideas for her Christmas crafts. Some are very cute and others are, ahem, rather, um, interesting.... This would classify as a cute one!
this gal also has buttons in jars and jewelry in jars with a ribbon around the lid.
