The boys always play rough with my husband. Dave tells their parents that it's o.k. that he is the one that gets them all worked up.
He doesn't get mad at them but once he got hit with the Thor hammer in the temple and took it away and put it on top of the refrigerator.

My husband called his grandpa Pop, and later our kids called his dad Pop. Our grandkids just call him Grandpa.
it's sweet and they just love Dave and sometimes they both gang up on him but the one year old isn't bad. LOL but Reece is almost 4yrs old and is big for his age as you can see. I guess it started out when he was little and now it looks bad but all in fun till someone gets hurt and it's usually Pop
Sounds like he looks out for what's best for all concerned. Merry Christmas, Jill and family.
Reece doesn't rough house with me but he likes to get attention and sometimes it doesn't matter if it's negative. He's only 3yrs old but will be 4yrs old in one month in Jan.
Encouraging violent behavior is probably not a good thing.
I don't think so either but ever since he started daycare he's rougher then he was going to a daycare in a private home with a nice couple where his 1yrs old brother goes.
He's only 3yrs old and fixing to be 4 yr old Jan 25th.
I really think my husband trys to cover for him cause he doesn't want his parents to get onto him. He doesn't do it with me cause I don't play that game.
Aww--sweet grandaddy. Rough housing w/out it getting out of hand is get for boys. Looks like all are having fun.
yes, my hubby is really laid back and gentle and kids and animals aren't afraid of him even though he's 6 foot 5 inches tall
Was there lightning from the Thor hammer? hahaha....
I used to get J's nephews all worked up and then just leave it to their parents to handle bedtime. Sneaky...
it doesn't take much to get this 3 yrs old worked up since he's always full of energy
Merry Christmas!!
Pop is worn out by the end of the day. You can see why. We just kept the little one year old yesterday
Merry Christmas to ya'all too.
Sorry, I was interrupted above. lol
That is a great shot of Dave and the grandson. Wonderful.
Hope all is going well. We will pick up our Christmas meal from the Jewish Deli.
Blessings
frank
Dave sometimes says that we will go to soup kitchen and I ask to volunteer and he says, "no, to eat." lol
I just posted a sweet photo of the boys.
Dave said to tell you hello and he said,"Jewish Christmas dinner=that doesn't sound right." I said,"they're the only ones open." He said,"that's right."
My husband used to rough house with the boys until they got too big and he had to say no more... Instead they started playing basketball!
LOL yes, they can play basketball together.
