Reece is almost 4yrs old now and his little brother is one year old.

I was holding the baby and said, "I'm just going to take you home, Reid" well, Reece said, "granny, no, put him down; he's my brother and you can't have him.

Well, his mom and dad looked at each other surprised cause earlier he would have been glad for me to take him.

ps. not my photo but one I found on the internet.

    • well, Frank, I talked too soon and Reece was a little rough with his brother. If he wasn't getting all the attention.
I asked my husband if that was right? and he said,"no, he didn't think it was right at all." Reece would stop and listen to us and we thought if we grabbed him that would just teach him to to the same to his brother.

  • He's so cute! It's good that he wants his baby brother to stay! :) Thanks Jill, we're staying warm here. Our power was off for about 6 hours the one day and it's been ok. I hope you fared well... do you keep feeling these tremblers around your area? I thought I felt one of them the other day!!! Happy Christmas!

    • we didn't have any outages and no more earthquakes either lately.
well, my little grandson was a bully to his little brother today but we didn't spank him cause we just try to tell him that is wrong. We figure why be a bully to him because it will teach him to be worse. Pop and I talk about how it's not right to hit or grab your little brother.

  • Awwww! That is wonderful that Reece has grown into the role of big brother!

  • He has adapted, as most siblings do. I hope your cold snap is abating, as ours finally has.
