Well, it's so cold that we still have ice on the roof of the store. No one can park near the roof.
I am glad that it's melting and the roads are alright now to travel.
My husband's mom couldn't understand why they didn't use snow plows on the road in Dallas. We said, "it's not snow but 2 inches of solid ice."

Yuck... you have ice, too? Until I met several friends through Xanga over the past 9 years, I didn't realize that it ever got that cold in TX... but I now realize that you do get snow & ice occasionally. Stay safe!
the roads are safe now but sometimes you still get some falling ice
We have some snow on the roof and some ice too but not a solid 2 inches... The ice however is close to 4 inches and good for ice fishing!
the kids around here were even playing hockey on the driveways. LOL
We are in Ontario, Canada, for the weekend where there is a lot of fresh snow - but we expect snow here. It is a bit more unusual for you to have snow and ice.
Blessings on your Sunday.
our last ice storm was 2011 when the Super Bowl came here and it was a mess.
We get snow about one day a year.
I truly dislike icy conditions ~ but I love the snow ~
yes, the kind you can make a snowman with is nice powder.
We have about 8" of snow here, and quite frankly snow is safer than ice when it comes to traveling. Be careful if you are going out!
yes, I can take the snow and cold for a while but this was for almost one week and had on the power lines.
