Well, we were at the antique mall yesterday while it was in the 80 degrees and now it's icy.
See the book I'm holding; it's an old photo album from the turn of the century and she is modeling some lights.
We like to shop after we each work in our own booths. She is my best girlfriend.

That shop looks like one I could have fun in. I have been wondering what to do with my mother's old Canadian Flyer ice skates... looks like I could just throw them at a wreath? lol

I'm pretty sure my mother had that Better Homes and Gardens cook book too.
I want to go on the hunt for teapots.
I see a nice little sugar and creamer set behind you too.
I'm jealous that you can still wear a pair of jeans so well.
Glad you had fun.
Blessings,
Lynn
thanks regarding the jeans. Those were my baggy ones too. I need to thank Lisa for that cause she has me wearing even tight jeans. I got a sweater the other day at the thrift store and I said,"I don't know Lisa, I think my hubby will attack me when he sees me in it." She said,"that is good." I can't wear animal prints for that reason. LOL
I have a red tea pot in my booth right now for Christmas.
we have a good time and my sister Mo is the one I share the booth with but she doesn't like me to post her on the internet but I can on facebook.
Oh yes, did you buy the photo album? It was the book that caught my attention. It is so pretty. I was wondering what it was.
Lisa never saw one like it before but she's just in her 40s so maybe she hasn't
I love going through an album like that one.
just pages but they are nice cardboard pages but no photos like my mom has.
It sure is cold all over. Your store looks toasty, though.
it was warm that day but we closed today. Last night the gal who has a four wheel drive who has the key for the shop called and she said,"don't get dressed unless I call and tell you."
Well, hubby knew that I made arrangements with Donna P. and all morning he said,"you'll are crazy and that blanky blank is such a cheap blank to make you women to go up there to go to work."
I finally said at 9am Well I guess we are closing and hubby said,"what, she never called?" I told him that we had a plan last night that if she didn't call that Joe Coomer called her and said,"we won't open."
hubby Dave said,"when were you going to tell me." I wondered why he kept going on and on. LOL
My mother has the same Christmas lights.
I hope they are safe. these LD lights are low energy using ones.
I see you are still having that m on your thingy.
I would have loved to help you in your store. I used to go crazy in any antique store.
yes, I like the antique mall and my dream is to go to one that also has a craft mall with it.
They don't have many craft malls like they used to.
Nice to see you and Lisa again. Too bad we didn't have more time together.
sometimes it's hard if you are depending on a ride and I thought it was really nice of your daughter to come all that way. I'm not allowed past the antique mall but the dr. released me on Wed. I was go glad.
Those shops are so fun to go through and find treasures. That book caught my eye, too. I enjoy looking at pictures old and new.
I think it was either 20 or $29 so that is pretty good-most of the time they are a lot more.
Nice to see you and Lisa--you have a nice girlfriend.
yes, she is pretty on the inside and outside. LOL I told her that I had to get a photo of her for my facebook. She approved it.
I love antique malls!
I didn't have to go today; we closed. The whole town closed here. We're not used to cold like up north
Haha! I love the Vanna pose!
I didn't even think of Vanna and Pat. I used to say when I worked at the dr. office that I got to get home after I make all my phone calls and they would say,"are you a wheel watcher?
It is rainy and cold but I can't stand being indoors too long. I feelsorry for bthe open air swap meets today. I wear my pants too long. It got washed today....
we can't go anywhere but the front or back porch since there is 2 inches of ice.
