Our library
The west side of the building is our police dept.
When my kids were little and I was in school the library was in the Carnegie building a few blocks away but it was hard to heat and cool.

I bet no one is stealing books!
my hubby would say no but it's cause his library is better here at home cause he gets recent books. At the library we do,too but I have to get on the list before I can check them out since they are in demand.

My sons libraries are so modern and big next to ours but they have big taxes I'm sure next to us.
Reminds me of a visit to Starbucks one morning. The State, County and City police were there. It was the safest place in the world.

yes, once I heard two men fighting in the bathroom and knocked on the door to the police station in the hallway and two cops came over and by the time we got around the corner they were gone. Oh,well, I didn't know what was going on but sometimes we get homeless and retarded people at the library and they sounded as if they were going to kill each other. The cops checked it out and said,"well, they're gone now."
