Recovery at home
The x-ray shows something like a Star Wars toy for a plate inside my right arm.
My appt. is wed. at 10am I might wear my p. j. s again.
If I'm good I might get another strawberry shake on the way home.

I feel good today and not even taken a pain pill yet but I was when I take my nap at 2pm
What did I miss -- did you fall on a star wars toy?
no I fell in my driveway and he said both bones in my forearm were broken straight across -I said u mean if some one hung on my hand or gave me a heart hand shake they might walk away with my hand-I fell Thursday AND went to ER saw orthopedic dr frday and had surgery -outpt on Monday -I gp see dr tomorrow -the plate and screws look like a Star Wars toy on the xray
I am praying for a quick recovery.
after my shoulder break this was a breeze- no pain today
Glad the surgery went well. Before you know it, six weeks will be gone. Then the fun of physical therapy starts!
for a forearm? I told my hubby to keep his mouth shut -after 3 months with my shoulder I can do it at home with the rubber stretch and my bell bar that's 2 lbs.
I broke the ulna and radial bones he put in a plate

it was wonderful but I couldn't sleep all night-not hurting just wide awake I fell asleep at 6am-8am only
Sounds like the pampering has begun! I'm so glad your surgery is over and you are in the recovery and healing phase!
they get you in and out fast I went at 8;30 and got home at 12:30
one thing was good I could leave my sports bra on,dancing with the stars slim lady pant diapers on, and my socks!
doesn't sound very fun ~ get well soon!
first day I was so mad at myself but I remember 35 years telling pts that It was just an accident
even if your bad you should get a strawberry milk shake!
I gave the girl in xray a hard time last Friday at the dr office -she said I have to remove your cast and I thought she was getting me confused-I said the just put it on yesterday! this is my 3rd cast the last two are pink
