Nixon was from California;my brother said they had bumper stickers they used several so it said,"NIX NIXON"
I didn't realize that we even had a Republican party in Texas until George W. was elected.

Candidate Nixon spoke at our high school in his early days.I know he is hated. When I think of what other Presidents have don, much less candidates for office, I feel he was so hated by the Media and Democrats they went after him with a vengeance. I think in 100 years he will appear better, but always have a footnote about Watergate. That was so dumb of him and completely unnecessary.
My grandfather didn't trust him when he was the VP in 1952 - called him Tricky Ricky Dick. He didn't lived to see him elected president. I can only imagine what he would have said about Watergate!
